Getting Started
To create a GoalQuest account:
- Download the GoalQuest app from the App Store or Google Play
- Tap "Create Account" on the welcome screen
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Verify your age (you must be 18+ to create a parent account)
- Complete your profile setup
To add a child profile:
- Log into your parent account
- Tap the "+" button or "Add Child" option
- Enter your child's display name (this can be a nickname)
- Let your child choose an avatar
- Create a PIN for your child to log in
- Review and accept the parental consent for COPPA compliance
You can add multiple children to your account.
Creating goals is easy:
- Select your child's profile
- Tap "Add Goal" or the "+" button
- Enter the goal title (e.g., "Clean your room")
- Set the credit reward value
- Choose if it's a one-time or recurring goal
- Add any additional details or instructions
Your child will see the goal in their app and can mark it complete when done.
Account & Settings
To reset your password:
- On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password"
- Enter your registered email address
- Check your email for the reset link
- Click the link and create a new password
If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
To change your child's login PIN:
- Log into your parent account
- Go to Settings > Child Profiles
- Select the child's profile
- Tap "Change PIN"
- Enter and confirm the new PIN
To delete a child's profile:
- Go to Settings > Child Profiles
- Select the child's profile
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Profile"
- Confirm the deletion
Warning: This will permanently delete all goals, achievements, and credits associated with this profile. This action cannot be undone.
To delete your GoalQuest account:
- Go to Settings > Account
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Read the information about what will be deleted
- Enter your password to confirm
- Tap "Permanently Delete Account"
Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Some anonymized financial records may be retained for legal compliance as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you want to delete your personal data while keeping your account active, you can submit a data deletion request. This removes your profile information, goals, progress, and child profiles, but lets you continue using GoalQuest with a fresh start.

Rewards & Credits
Quest Credits are virtual tokens that represent rewards your child can earn:
- Children earn credits by completing goals you create
- Credits accumulate in their virtual wallet
- Credits can be redeemed for gift cards
- 1 credit = $1 in gift card value
Important: GoalQuest does not hold any money. Credits represent your commitment to reward your child when they redeem them.
When your child has enough credits:
- Your child selects "Redeem" in their wallet
- They choose a gift card (Roblox, Nintendo, Xbox, etc.)
- A redemption request is sent to you for approval
- You review and approve the request
- Complete the payment using your saved payment method
- The gift card is delivered to your email within 24-48 hours

- Amazon
- Apple App Store / iTunes
- Google Play
Availability may vary by region. New options are added regularly.
No, Quest Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. However, if you delete your account or a child's profile, any remaining credits will be forfeited and cannot be recovered.
Troubleshooting
Try these steps:
- Close the app completely and reopen it
- Check your internet connection
- Update to the latest version of the app
- Restart your device
- Uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is saved in the cloud)
If the problem persists, contact our support team.
If you haven't received your gift card within 48 hours:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify the email address on your account is correct
- Check the redemption status in the app under History
- Contact support with your redemption reference number
If goals aren't syncing between devices:
- Ensure both devices have an active internet connection
- Pull down to refresh the goals list
- Log out and log back in
- Check that you're using the same account on both devices
Syncing typically happens within a few seconds.
