Delete Your Account

Permanently delete your GoalQuest account and all associated data.

This action is permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove your account, all child profiles, goals, progress, and credits. This cannot be undone. If you only want to delete your personal data while keeping your account, use our data deletion request instead.

How to Delete Your Account

Option A: From the App

Open Settings

Log into your parent account and navigate to Settings > Account.

Tap "Delete Account"

Scroll down and tap the "Delete Account" option. Review the information about what will be deleted.

Confirm with your password

Enter your password and tap "Permanently Delete Account" to confirm. Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Submit a request

Use the form below or send an email to support@goalquest.mobi with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your GoalQuest account.

Verify your identity

We will send a verification email to your registered account email address. Click the link in the email to confirm your request. This ensures only you can request deletion of your account.

Account is deleted within 30 days

Once verified, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the process is complete.

What Data Is Deleted

The following data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your account

    Your login credentials, email address, and account settings are permanently deleted. You will no longer be able to log in.

  • Profile information

    Your name, profile picture, and personal preferences.

  • Goals and progress

    All goals, milestones, achievements, and progress tracking data.

  • Child profiles

    Children's display names, avatars, PINs, credits, and all associated data.

  • Personal identifiers on transaction records

    Your user ID and identifying information is removed from payment and gift card records. The anonymised financial records are retained separately for legal compliance (see below).

What Data Is Retained

Certain data is kept for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. This data cannot be linked back to you after deletion:

  • Anonymised transaction records 5 years

    Payment amounts, gift card purchases, and fee breakdowns are retained without personal identifiers for 5 years, as required by tax and financial regulations.

  • Anonymised analytics 1 year

    Aggregated, non-identifying usage data that helps us improve GoalQuest. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No. Once the deletion process is complete, your account and all associated data are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account to use GoalQuest again.

What if I just want to delete my data but keep my account?

If you want to keep your account active but remove your personal data for a fresh start, use our data deletion request instead. This removes your personal data while keeping your account accessible.

What happens to my active subscription?

Account deletion does not automatically cancel your app store subscription. Please cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings before deleting your account to avoid continued charges.

What happens to my children's remaining credits?

All remaining Quest Credits will be permanently forfeited when your account is deleted. Please ensure any earned credits are redeemed before deleting your account.

Why are transaction records kept?

We are required by tax and financial regulations to retain transaction records. However, these records are anonymised — all personal identifiers are removed so they can no longer be linked to you.

I'd prefer to email my request. What should I include?

Send an email to support@goalquest.mobi with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your GoalQuest account. We'll reply with a verification link.
