Request Data Deletion
Choose which data to delete from your GoalQuest account.
Important
This request deletes your selected data but keeps your GoalQuest account open. Your account will remain active. If you want to delete your entire account instead, you can do so from the app settings.
How It Works
Select data and submit
Select the data categories you want to delete and enter your account email below.
Verify your identity
We will send a verification email to your registered account email address. Click the link in the email to confirm your request. This ensures only you can request deletion of your data.
Review and confirm deletion
After clicking the verification link, you'll see a confirmation page showing your selected data. Click "Delete My Data" to permanently remove it.
Data Categories
You can choose to delete one or more of the following data categories:
Child profiles, goals, gift cards, star boosts, PINs, and all associated data. This permanently removes all children from your account.
Audit logs, referrals, budget notifications, device tokens, in-app purchase receipts, and redemption requests.
Anonymises payment records and feedback (removes your user ID), deletes app credits. Anonymised financial records are retained separately for legal compliance.
What Data Is Retained
Certain data is kept for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. This data cannot be linked back to you after deletion:

Account credentials Active
Your login credentials are kept so your account remains accessible. You can continue using GoalQuest after data deletion.

Anonymised transaction records 5 years
Payment amounts, gift card purchases, and fee breakdowns are retained without personal identifiers for 5 years, as required by tax and financial regulations.

Anonymised analytics 1 year
Aggregated, non-identifying usage data that helps us improve GoalQuest. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.

Request submitted
We've sent a verification email to your address. Please check your inbox and click the confirmation link to proceed with data deletion. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my data after deletion?
No. Once the deletion process is complete, the selected data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming.
Will my account be deleted?
No. This process only deletes the data categories you select. Your account remains active and you can continue using GoalQuest. To fully delete your account, use the option in your app settings.
What happens to my active subscription?
Your subscription remains active. Data deletion does not cancel your subscription or affect billing. If you want to cancel your subscription, please do so through your app store settings.
Why are transaction records kept after selecting "Payment Records"?
We are required by tax and financial regulations to retain transaction records. However, these records are anonymised — all personal identifiers are removed so they can no longer be linked to you.
